PROPERTY SUITABILITY & ACCESS NOTICE

At Onetai Estate, we are committed to transparency regarding our property and services. We believe that providing clear information is the best way to ensure our guests can make informed decisions about whether our estate is the right fit for their requirements.
 

1. PROPERTY NATURE & SUITABILITY

Onetai Estate is a natural, rustic environment characterized by its original landscape and architectural design. We want to be clear that the property is not purpose-built for guests with limited mobility, wheelchair users, or those requiring specific accessibility infrastructure.
 

Due to the nature of our estate, guests should be aware of the following physical characteristics:

  • Terrain: The property consists of varied natural terrain, including sloping land, uneven lawns, and unpaved gravel paths.

  • Access & Navigation: There are no ramps or lift-assisted access points on the premises. Moving between accommodation units, the grounds, and common areas requires navigating multiple sets of stairs and unpaved surfaces.

  • Design Constraints: Our buildings are designed to integrate with the natural landscape and do not feature structural modifications typically required for accessible accommodation (such as widened doorways, ground-level thresholds, or modified bathrooms).
     

2. RESPONSIBILITY & INFORMED CONSENT

We encourage all potential guests to review this notice carefully. By choosing to book a stay at Onetai Estate, guests acknowledge that they have been informed of the property’s physical nature and confirm that the environment is suitable for their mobility needs.
 

If you have mobility limitations that require specific access features, we recommend considering alternative accommodation that is purpose-built to meet those requirements, as Onetai Estate may not be able to provide a safe or comfortable experience for you.
 

3. OPERATIONAL SCOPE & ASSISTANCE

Onetai Estate does not provide medical equipment, personal assistance services, or modified accommodation facilities. While we strive to provide a welcoming environment for all, our ability to provide assistance is strictly limited by our structural constraints, health and safety obligations, and staffing levels.

Any inquiry regarding property access is assessed on a case-by-case basis. We reserve the right to decline booking requests if, upon discussion, it is determined that the property cannot safely accommodate a guest's specific needs.
